Holy crap! My last tank consisted of highway and traffic driving. In fact one drive consisted of about 1.5 hours of traffic straight. On the way home I calculated my mileage at 19.4 mpg!!! My truck broke 1k miles on this tank. My current tank with about 40 miles in is at 20 mpg!!! It was up to 20.1 but dropped back to 20 when I pulled up in front of my house. The last two tanks I filled at the same station which is in napa area. I think they have special additives or maybe it's because the mileage that is now on the truck? I do find that my mileage drops down when I go over 65 mph with the towing package version; not sure if the sport version does this as well. At 70 mph I still get great mileage just not quite as great. I hope this isn't a fluke. If this truck continues to get these numbers with this much power wow. And if it turns out to be reliable toyota may have a customer for life.
On the trip I passed 3 people like they weren't moving in the standard drive mode. This thing breaks 85 mph from 45~50 mph pretty quick. It was funny how much longer the ford behind me had to wait to pass the same person.
