Sounds like you've bought into the ARB marketing pitch. They make great bumpers, but I've yet to see a single report describing how the other similar bumpers "kill you". Frankly, given the bolt-on mounting, and the air-bag actuation input, it's very hard to imagine how the bumper design could impair the airbag deployment, and ANY after-market bumper is going to provide more protection than the flimsy factory bumper.
