I am pretty sure you are right about the LE's having keyless and the base ones not. My LE didn't come with the remotes either so I bought some off of
ebay and programmed them myself. I know the site keylessride.com lets you put in your VIN number to see if it came with keyless. Otherwise, I would check places like
ebay for the factory system or go with aftermarket because the dealership is gonna scam you. They were trying to sell me 1 keyless remote for $150! I bought two off of
ebay for $15 shipped.
