Not likely. That is the reason these trucks are great for drag racing. The drive train is overbuilt. It is rated to tow almost 11000 lbs up and down hills, stop and go, all day long. You are only doing 14 second pulls, then half hour cool downs, unloaded, nothing towed behind. If the machine can't handle its own power under these conditions, might as well trade it on a Duramax.
