Be my guest to do what you want....I only gave what process worked for me, after building 5 bad DVS!! The extra steps were a little tedious, but guess what, it WORKED and most of all, there is no reason why NOT to do it as I posted. I tried the other methods which worked historically for some people, but after reading plenty of cases where it didn't work, I decided to try the route that seemed to have the best results. I still have all those bad DVD's which have all the data on them but don't read in my NAVI, you can take one of them!! Be my guest and read through the below link where plenty of people discussed their aggravations. As you sift through it, you will see the method I mentioned originated because of the issues of straight disc copy! I'm only a software developer...so don't take my word for it!
