Default Re: File a complaint to NHSTA regarding VSC/ABS Skid control ECU failure

Had the translate ECU replaced (under Toyota Extra Care) 3 weeks ago.(Everybody should REALLY consider getting one from TOG) $0 out of pocket for the repairs. Also showed codes for oxygen sensor, replaced at the same time.

2 weeks later same lights came on ESC, TRAC, Check engine. I was like WTF? Had my independent shop check and only code was for another O2 sensor. Went to dealer to get checked, same story O2 only. Story from rep is that the check engine light triggers all by default. Truth??, Lie?? don't know but only thing on the bill was another O2 sensor (also covered in full).

Truck has 47k and is 4 1/4 years old.

Question is how many people have had it replaced "out of warranty" that might have only been an O2 sensor triggering all 3 lights? Nice extra $$ for the crooked dealers.
