Default Re: Need pics and reviews on MT ATZ

Another update:

I was able to get the tires mounted yesterday and had the alignment done this morning. One thing I can say is DAMN THIS THING IS QUIET !! I was expecting a little hum from the aggressive look (key word "Looking") tires but boy was I wrong. Inside the truck it has no road noise caused by the tires. I actually get to her the hum from my exhaust now.

Now one of the major problems so far was the balancing of the tires. I might have to get another shop to balance them but I could be wrong. It took alot of wait just balance them. One tire required an initial weight of 13.5 oz. Now I'm no tire pro but isn't that excessive? And even after adding all that it still required another 5 oz. Now all the tires were similar but not as bad. The shop was able to get 2 of them to zero out (after some weights) while the other two (the ones in the rear) were roughly off of balance by 2.5 oz. inner and outter edges.

Even though the two tires are not zeroed in balance the ride is glass like. Thers is no shudders, shimmies, or shakes, and like I said NO NOISE. Only time will tell on the wear and tear but I'm sure it'll be a while.

Oh yeah, I'll try to get some pics up of them mounted. Now my truck has a FAT A$$ >
