The 03 doesn't have the 5 speed

I tow a travel trailer that is in the 5500-6000 range a lot. Be sure to have a really good anti sway hitch if it is something like a travel trailer. I got a hensley hitch since I would be doing a lot of towing with it, best purchse yet. It tows just fine, a little sluggish of the line but I still keep up with traffic no problem, even beat the slower oines off the line.

I toed a bobcat & tilt deck 25 foot trailer, Total weight was in the 8500-9000 range on the regular hich, no sway, no weight dist.. Once it was rolling it was OK, but it was working to get going. You kinew the weight was there b ut it handed it quite well for being that much over. I would not suggest doing it though. I was in a bind & needed to - a total of about 70 miles each way, though the city & then highway & back.
