Sound at hwy speeds? Much like stock, just a bit louder. But when you step on it, she gets real mean. A little loud when under power/acceleration, but it relaxes when you level your speed off. I honestly don't think it drones anymore than the stock.
$600? If that is for the whole system, you'd be making a mistake going with anything else, that's a steal... IMHO
Install? Instructions in the box, and like I said, took me an hour by myself. It is all straight forward, and anyone with a small set of tools could do it themselves.
To the headers? NO, from the cats back.
Performance gains? Again, I haven't seen or performed a dyno before and after, but Toyota says around a 10hp gain. It feels like there is more than stock, and it sure sounds fast.
