I'm a genius aren't I  I've been working custom Turbo Cressidas and Supras for years, and when a vacuum is leaking, it'll do what you explained. Even if the ECU senses and exhaust leak from the manifolds, it wouldn't add enough fuel to stall it at idle. Glad you got your tiny problem fixed tho.
