My dealer here in Houston did not even offer a new transmission. The senior tech explained that some of the trucks with the problems even had the problem after the transmissions were changed. I have over 3700 miles and still have the issue so I do not believe that it will "go away with time". I hope that the issue has truly been found and the fixes will be implemented ASAP. We bought 2 Tundras due to the safety, reliability, and technology advancements over the other big 3 trucks. I have been assured by Toyota owners of other vehicles that Toyota "WILL" take good care of us.
