I'm told there is a remanufactured one here in Portland they could put in right away. I've decided against it, partly due to recommendation of the tech who is a cool guy, and will fight Toyota for a new tranny off the line. If what everyone is saying is true that the tranny's have been modified post Oct. 1, why would I want a remanufactured unit put in my truck that may experience the same problem?

I used to live there in Salem, did you go to capital toyota? I would take the time to head up to wilsonville toy and talk to them. They are very customer oriented and will take great care of you.
Good luck with your tranny.
