I actually bought the truck at Bend Toyota and have had it evaluated at Beaverton Toyota. The Beaverton mechanic is a good guy and has recommended I push for a new tranny, not a remanufactured one that may have the same issue. I really like the people in Bend and appear to be busting their butts to get through the upper Toyota bureaucracy to get me fixed up. I'm cosidering having the work done in Bend because they deal with many more 4 wheel drive vehicles than this side of the mountains. Still waiting to hear what Toyota will do now that I have a case number through the customer care line.
