I don't buy cars based on reliability ratings anyway. As stated before, by others, the willingness of a company to stand behind it's products is just as important if not more important than initial quality. But for those that rely on a vehicle to make their living, having the vehicle down for say a tranny replacement is a real pain unless another truck is provided while theirs is under repair.
With any luck this will just be a wake up call for Toyota to slow down, focus on what they need to and make things better for their customers. This rating is not the end of the world, just constructive criticism as far as the reliability stats. The subjective ratings are just that, and anyone that wants a transportation appliance (like CR) will not understand or tolerate a vehicle that has any character.
