Really? Was the skid plate removal on that one as much of a hassle as it seems to be on the new Tundra? I never had a vehicle like that. All my vehicles the oil filter is easily accessible. I never had to remove any body parts to get at it. But then fuel filters used to be right out in the open and a five minute job, too.
Both my 4runner's have skid plate also. Everytime I change oil, I have to remove the skid plate and that is not a problem for me since it is not a daily routine thing. I'm just glad that the bottom of my car or truck is protected.
