It's a bit odd now. Ever since I took the advice of someone on this forum to push the recirculate button for over 2secs, I haven't had the problem. It stays right where it should now (even after I've turned off/on my truck).
With all the smoke and fires in the air out here right now, I can't have it blow "fresh (smokey)" air into the cab :cry:
