The first copy of the "Tailgate" petition with 325 signatures has been sent to Toyota. The petition will be kept active and we still need as many signatures as possible.

For those that believe we should adopt a wait and see attitude because they have not been affected, that is your choice and I support it. You will still benefit from any solution this petition produces.

But remember that the bottom line in any company is profits.
A larger number of customers affected and complaining about a problem produces the potential for greater negative publicity and a larger financial impact to a company. This results in a quicker resolution to the problem.

I am not attempting to soil Toyota's reputation. On the contrary, I came from GM and my Tundra is by far the best truck I have owned. I am only trying to keep it that way.

Thanks to all who signed and to TS for providing the forum. I will keep you posted
