Default Re: Sold my Tundra

I did a similar move back in March, but I have had some issues with my Ridgeline. I had the rear bumper misaligned and paint was being chipped off. They fixed it the second time.

I've also had wind whistle noises from the trim around the brake light (fixed), door rattles, dash rattles, and other small QC issues. The Ridgeline is FAR from perfect, but it fits my needs wonderfully. I do miss my Tundra still, but it is nice not having to drive with my steering wheel in my chest with someone in the back seat of the Access Cab.

Where the Ridgeline fails is in overall pickup, and performance. It may work well in general driving, but it takes some omph to get it to go when needed at times.

The bed is okay, but suffers the same scratching and chipping issues as the Tacoma does. I'd prefer a steel bed with Line-X any day.

I chose the Ridgeline over the Tacoma mainly because of comfort. The Tacoma's front seat even all the way back wasn't comfortable for me. The Ridgeline has MUCH lower ground clearance and it's AWD to 4WD was meant more for loose traction then the off-road places the Tacoma can go.

But, even right now, you can get a screaming deal on either a Ridgeline or the new Tundra. Apples and oranges but both are great vehicles for whichever one fits your needs the best. I needed more passenger seat and comfort then hauling needs. The bed has been used, and the trunk is quite useful.

As for payload, in the bed area it is mixed. Total of 300 pounds in the trunk, and 1100 in the bed.
