Thanks for the information. I found a Kicker speaker that worked for me. Rated at input range 40-175 watts, with a higher sensitivity 89db. The installation took about 15 minutes. Did not have to remove the seat like some said. After removing the third brake light as described before, I removed the 10mm bolts and lifted the assembly out without having to remove the seat. There is enough movement in the rear deck up to one half an inch, and you can easy it out. Once out the speaker I found fit nicely in the old slot and I used the plastic ring and covering to clamp in the new speaker. Was able to use the old plugs too. I have a speaker for sale now if anyone is interested. I plan to post it on
ebay for about $45 including shipping and handling. I had to buy a pair and have no use for the second speaker. It is Kicker SS8MB and it works very well. It is a free air speaker, mid range 30-500hz. Any interest?
