OK gang. I have learned several things:
- This forum has a LOT of members which want to enable all the NAV functions. Bad design courtesy of Toyota Legal. Thank God for mods!
- Many of you are from California, Canada, and Texas. Did they put something in the water or are the Tundras required by state law?
- My to-do list grows longer yet I keep tinkering with the truck projects. When will the madness stop?
I originally made the first speed pulse generator for myself and published the schematic info to help others make their own. Then I was hit with a few special requests to build them for people that couldn't or didn't want to make their own. So I built a batch of them which quickly sold out, yet the orders kept coming in. I didn't want to leave anyone hanging so I repeated this loop by making and selling batches 2, 3, and 4. I have now shipped these devices to many states and several countries yet the PMs keep coming in. So I built a fifth batch tonight when I should have been working or sleeping, and then the first few of those sold before the solder joints were even cold. I was literally watching the email come in as I was soldering.
So as of right now I have about 5 units left from the fifth batch. If you are on the fence then now is the time to order. If you already PMd me to get the payment info then be advised that I will ship in the order that payment is received so someone else might beat you to it if they pay first.
If you are building your own device then be advised that I have updated the circuit design slightly and didn't have a chance to publish a new install report for it yet. The new design uses two less parts and is set to the optimum pulse range based on my testing and feedback from satisfied forum members. Not a big change but it does help and leaves less room for error.
And for anyone that hasn't read all the threads and posts: this speed pulse generator device will unlock all NAV functions while you are in motion. Details are in my install report (see the link in my signature).
