I have Wades and they work great for me. I've never noticed any additional motor strain. I think the most important thing is to follow the directions and keep the windows completely rolled up for the prescribed period. Two days as I recall. It might also be best to do this in hot weather, but I don't know. That might help everything re-mold itself around the visors properly.
