I've created the hybrid disc but my 2008 Lexus will not load the 5.1 firmware from the disc.
If the car is on and I swap the discs, the system can read the maps and POIs from the hybrid disc so it seems the disc is sort of working.
If I remove the fuse for 10 minutes, the system doesn't load the disc. When I put back the original 7.1 disc, it loads the 7.1 firmware and continues working.
Has anyone had their 2008 load the 5.1 firmware? Is the 2008 unit still a Gen5?

Lexus is the same as toyota navigation
FUJITSU TEN same supplier but sofeware on each other im not sure how there interact. Also depends on what model Lexus too since a few now have Hdd hard drive based systems..
