I like Denso/ 99% of OE parts on Toyota... just from experience in past
trying all the "Other" aftermarket brands and such.
Especially spark plugs .I tried all the other stuff...they just work VERY bad in Toyota engines.
I do use K&N washable/ reusable air filters. Not for added performance... It doesn't do much there in a un-modified engine, but it saves much money. It meets OE standards and will NOT void any MFR. Warranty and I'll never need to by an engine air filter again! Yu just wash and respray every 30-50K miles.
But this is so contoversial by some, so I won't say anymore on this product..
TRD (sold by Toyota Performance Parts) makes a similar reusable airfilter product.
But is merely made by an outsourced company in the end.
K&N originated the concept of washable filters though.
Can't say one is better than the other except that all TRD stuff is way overpriced.
TRD is quality none the less.
And, they have some unique parts that yu can't find anywhere else specifically for Toyotas.
But I would generally use Denso OE over any other commercially availble stuff..
