Default Breaking it in nicely

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to say that I'm a new proud owner of a green 03 4runner sr5 4x4. I must say this is a wonderful truck.

Here are some of the low down on the truck right now. Still babyin' the ride so I can't tell you how the power is but even keeping it under 3k rpm it rides wonderfully. SMOOTH!!! I have to agree w/ Eric that the sunroof is large.

Exterior: yes the body cladding might be abit much but for me it serves as a basic doesn't chip paint theory so I guess it works. Wished it was a darker shade or something. But it does match well with the darker shades of color. The rear hatch (power) is a real touch of gold. This thing is awesome!! Now you don't have to worry about slamming the back to make sure it's closed. The running boards are bad (is not useful one bit and it does get your pants dirty ), this will have to go.

Interior: although I only got the sr5, the interior is excellent. Only flaw is that the catalog states it comes w/ vanity mirror(s) but this one didn't and nor did any other 4runner on the lot. MUST BE A TOYOTA FLAW OR MISTAKE?! The drivers mirror/window switches are def a must change. It is very difficult to get to it and if you wear a watch on your left hand, it will definitely hit the bottom of the arm rest/arm door. I don't have the JBL system but the stock system is good. Not bad for a stock system One nice feature that I really admire is the head rests for the back doesn't need to be removed when you fold down the rear seats. Rear leg rooms is alot roomier than the previous 4runners. the mirrors in the back quarter panel was a nice feature that I never thought of. This does work and it helps especially in tight parking lots... gj toyota!

I'm one big happy camper! can't wait to take it out on the dirt now!!
