The tips would help. I also noticed that aero turbine also sells resonator tips for a fraction of zoomers price, but they are a smaller tip.
Firecrew isn't the only person who has gotten good results by putting a resonator behind the muffler. I just read on a Titan forum posts by two seperate guys who weren't happy with the drone they were getting on their Titans are installing a 22" Magnaflow muffler. They had a 12" long Glass-Pack installed behind the Magnaflow and in their words, that too care of it.
So their is something to it. I don't think the factory resonator will do the job because it was designed to work with the factory muffler, but an aftermarket resonator or possibly small muffler seems to work well at getting rid of or at least reducing drone.
