Mine slips too. I use a shop rag and place it between the filter housing and the flute. Off the subject i put a little notch in one of the tabs on the outside of the housing cap that the little metal prong touches. when i put it back on i just tighten it so that it ends up in the exact same position. Let me know some input if anyone thinks that is a good idea.
