I bought my 5.7 DC in March. In April I complained about the vibration and was told to let it "break in" and maybe would go away. 11K miles later, it's still there.
I usually only have it when accelerating hard, or while towing (mostly the later). I get a shudder and vibration around 2300 rpm, then again around 3200.
The dealer says that Toyota is aware of the problem, but doesn't know how to fix it.
I called Toyota Customer service, and they referred me to a Tundra specialist, and he told me the same thing. He also said that most of the vibration problems there were having were in California.
All I want to know, is when are they going to start changing out major parts ot fix the problem. Am I supposed to believe that this is ok?
