Agree its good to refer people to the Search but you can always do it in a more positive manner. And if you know it and can help why not just do so or just not reply.

If you see a tire size thread any other that your sick of simply dont open it.
you own this site? perhaps you should re read the OPs post because he knows what size tire he wants to run. He wants to know the lift size needed. He asks about spacers so lets assume he is talking about oem wheels which are 4.6" bsp.... so yes he would need spacers. He could run 285s without a lift if he get 2" spacers but that would be silly unless he is gonna stay on the street. Effectively 2.5" or greater would be ideal. bsp should be 4.5" or less 3.75" - 4" is ideal......... OR YOU CAN SEARCH like I did and you'll find a million sposts that say the same thing

oh and if lifting a 4x4 search for CV boot mod and differential drop.
