Re: 4x4 TUNDRA MPG
My truck (yes I finally finished a deal on one) a 5.7L 4X4 DC limited, has thus far managed about 15.5-16 MPG on the highway. I have yet to drive it much in town, but don't expect much from it.
I live in South Dakota in the Black Hills, I have lots of elevation changes, and the wind this time of year blows incessantly 20-30mph. Combine that with crappy winter gas, and colder temps that keep the engine from reaching optimal temp quickly and you have a bad time for fuel economy.
I wish I could tell you what to expect on a flat nice road, but I have over 2000ft of elevation change on the way to and from work. On the few flat looking stretches it has gotten right around 17-20mpg at 65mph.
I have less than 200 miles on the clock though, so who knows what will happen with the mileage in another 10,000 miles.
