Mine does exactly as yours does when going over bumps or imperfections in the road. I can do a quick jump on my hitch and the bed keeps oscillating several times and it will do this on the highway as well. Is that what everyone is calling "bed bounce"? I couldn't find the same blue foam that was mention by the original poster as possible "bed bounce cure" but was able to locate a 1 inch thick knee padding that I felt would be of similar consistency and put it between the tire and frame as instructed. I felt NO difference when driving and the bed still reverberates over bumps. Any other suggestions?
