I'm not doubting the bed bounce stories, or how bad this problem is.
It would drive me nuts, too.
I think this problem has to do with how far apart the expansion joints are, so that a specific speed, there is a resonance, or a reinforcement, as in: the truck is just in the right spot from the previous bounce so that the next joint augments the direction it's going and it just gets worse with each expansion joint.
What needs to happen is the suspension has to be altered somehow, extra spring, air bag, or a lot more weight in the back.
