I have a 1999 tacome 2.4 automatic that sputters at lower rpms not all the time but pretty often. Enough to not want to pull ut in traffic. No codes came up I have had it plugged into a dealer style reader drove it around and everytimg seemed normal. I have replaced the MAF, coils,crank sensor,fuel filter, cleaned low idle air circuit, cleaned and inspected injectors,spark plugsand it seems to have this problem. I am running out of ideas now I am down to it may sound funey buy every time it seems like the fuel pressure is taken off the system for a bit then everything is put back together it seems to run its best. just a thought
