The Optima web site recommends the yellow top if you run the battery down on a regular basis.
Based on the Red top warranty, it is 3-yrs for the intended use and none if it turns out you have a deep cycle requirement.
I am impressed that Optima gave you 2-replacements when they had no obligation.
If in doubt buy the yellow top it is bullit proof and worth the extra dollars
