Not a good ideal is correct to lower a 4wd but if you don't use it then might suit your need's just fine . I've seen a few 4wd lowered but lossing some ground clearance when you do this

I would love to see someone add 20 inch wheel's on a Highlander hybrid which by the way might have decent 4wd but can't do serious off roading because of the batterie (batteries not included )
