I'm sorry, but the bed bounce is NOT limited to SoCal. I live in Washington (state) and there are sections of freeway here that are concrete pads and my '07 Tundra DC bounces to the point that I think that it will fall apart. The dealer here claims they have never heard of the problem (Yeah right!). At night, you can see the headlight pattern bouncing in the distance as you drive along. There's a video on you tube showing Ford reps talking about differences in F150 and Tundra and they show test track vid where the Tundra bed bounces and flexes so badly that it actually dents the back of the cab. For such a great truck (Tundra) it really amazes me that Toyota could miss such a serious issue such as this.

Ive modified vehicles for along time, and have driven some really stiff setups and some really smooth setups. This stock tundra ride is crazy, the bed bounce almost is scary at some times. My friends have riden in my truck and start laughing cause the bouncing is so bad. Anybody that doesnt believe how bad the bed bounce is here in souther cali should come down and they can drive my truck..
