Default Scangauge II Horse Power Readings FYI

There have been a couple of questions about how the Scangauge II measures horse power. I emailed the company with the following question and got the reply below.

Hi,

The HP reading that the ScanGauge does is an internal calculation. It
should be pretty close to the grose horsepower that your engine produces. We have done testing on several cars at a dyno and found the ScanGauge to be reading around 15-20% higher then wheel hp.
