Haven't researched it fully, so I can't say. According to Castrol's site, they don't make a 0W-20 in Syntech, Syntec Blend or dino. Looks like the only offer 5W-20 in Syntech, Syntec Blend, or dino. AFAIK, you only need 0W-20 in very cold climates. Here in Calif, I use 5W-20.
But stop and think about it for a minute: Why in the world would Toyota put synthetic (Syn) oil in the Tundra when they ship it from the factory? It only increases their cost. And according to Toyota, once you go Syn, you don't go back. So shipping with Syn originally would mean you would forever be stuck with Syn oil.
