For those of you who were wondering, if you have a V8 and have the key immobilizer, you can have the stock alarm activated instead of paying the ridiculous $200 for. After getting the run-around from my selling dealership, I went to another and had them activate the alarm and disable the passenger seat dinger/buzzer for $30 (it was $60 but I told them that was too high and they knocked it down). Just FYI for everyone that was still wondering. Sorry if there were other people who had confirmed this on the other thread (I couldn't find it).
