thanks a lot for that advice. I have grounded the parking break already. And i had already attached the antenna for the navi unit to pick up the signal. The navi was working perfectly, it picked up the streets i was driving around once the install was complete. I was just not able to enter an address in the navi menu. I am just unclear as to why the speed/pulse wire needs to be connected and why the reverse sensor wire needs to be connected? Also do you know the colors to those two wires you are referring to? And to where they need to be connected.
