It is standard on the Limited and optional ($299 I think) on the others. Toyota clearly found it cheaper/easier to wire all the trucks for the alarm and charge $299 to "install" the option.
Many things are pre-wired on these trucks. The connections for the Glass Break Sensor and Heated Seats are two examples. On some trucks the wiring for the sonar and back-up camera are present too.
