Default Re: Deaver Spring Question

I got an explanation from the place that installed my lift, SDHQ. Apparently my salesperson was misinformed about the height of the lift. The Deaver site, as well as Wheelers, both say that the Deavers provide 2 inches of lift. Also, on the Deaver site you can read that the springs require a Total Chaos shackle.

The guy who explained it at SDHQ said that the actual leaf pack provides 2 inches of lift, but the shackle brings it down to 1 inch (or less). The Total Chaos shackle is apparently the only shackle for the leaf pack.

It sounds like the Deaver leaf pack (k37) should not be advertised as providing 2 inches of lift, because I'm seeing less than 1.

I think I may have them take off the Deavers and put on some OMEs. I will get a call from them on Monday or Tuesday after they have called Deaver.
