actually mxsjw e90toay did previously say that 'genuine toyota synthetic' was nippon with some coming from mobile 1.
ive been scouring the internet for the past hour trying to find out who actually makes toyotas synthetic which is what led me to this thread. everything else ive read pointed to castrol so im interested in what evidence backs up e90's nippon oil statement.
ive also heard (heard being the key word) that factory oil (dino or synthetic) could have been either depending on which plant the truck was assembled, wisconson or texas.
really would like a definitive answer on who produces toyota synthetic though cause my dealer does $49 changes using it.
