Default Re: Oil filled from the Factory?

The oils shown on the Eneos USA site are the products offered to the US consumer only; go to the Euro/Japan sites and you will see that Eneos does offer a non-syn 0w-20 to other markets, along with synthetics, semi synthetics etc. So Toyota could be using a non synthetic 0w-20 if the choose to. The fact it is not marketed in the US does not mean it does not exist. A major oil co could supply/blend someone with a 7.5w-38 if someone spec'ed it and purchased it in a sufficient quantity like shiploads downloaded into rail tanker cars. Toyota buys a lot of oil on a worldwide basis.

The US market seems to be the only market that gets the oil in qts, everywhere else it is sold in 1L, 4L, and 20L bottles/jugs. What is sold here (US) is probably bottled here from bulk shipments
