Default Re: 09 Venza My new ride

Where did Pontiac Aztec come from? I don't see any similarity.

Aztec was listed in the TOP TEN Blunders for GM in the past 30 years.

The Public refused to buy it based on looks alone.

The Pontiac Design Team was fired for that mistake.

The Venza won't be an FX35/45. That's in a different league.

Actually I considered the FX35 but thisCrossover was very harsh riding, required excessive maintenance, and was plagued by small defects.

Power window regulators failing predominently on the passenger front.

And oil burning issues, sludging in the valve train.
But at least they give yu a loaner when it is stuck at the Infiniti Dealer for two weeks waiting for parts to fix the window regulator..

And the V6 is as just as much a pig on Fuel as the V8. The FX is actually a bit too heavy for the V6 with AWD.

I know owners of both and and have driven both. They both require Premium grade fuel also.

The Venza will fit in where the 01-07 sized Highlander Crossover was. At least this is Toyotas Marketing Objective. The 08 HL is larger and is Targeting a different Market right now.

And quite honestly The 08 HL is really too much Vehicle for me. I like the smaller SIZE of the 01-07's.
The 08 is a gem, but just too large for me.

If my 06 HL was to get stolen or totalled tommorow, I will not be replacing it with the size of an 08 HL.

Hence the Venza.
