Default Re: updates for 2009?

HOUSEI,

I had an F 150 99 and traded and I bought CREWMAX.

I liked paint on my 99 better and the plastics in interior MORE durable and more scratch resistant then TUNDRA. Engine was 4.6 and a bit underpowered. Took me to 200, 000 miles without engine or trany problems. Changed a couple of sensors. I did brakes every 70-80,000 miles because didn't use soft pads.

My tundra, YES I love it but durability. IN some things yes and in other things, they designed it to be NO. Examples: paint, brake pads, interior plastics, tailgate, thin steel to get great gas mileage for the size of truck. I scratch my head and ask TOYOTA, why not a home run with this truck instead of being stuck at second base??

IT is frustrating to say the least, because you don't find out QUALITY OR DURABILITY ISSUES until after buying truck.
