Yeah, I get Truck Trend Magazine and was very impressed with how the Tundra performed. Not exactly apples to apples due to the Tundra being the only 1/2 ton. I was wondering why they did not test 1/2 ton to 1/2 ton from the big three. I know that usually 1/2 tons will out perform the 3/4 and 1 tons due to weight, drivetrain drag and gearing. The closest truck to the Tundra was the Chevy 2500 Duramax and it was still one second slower 0 to 60 and 3 seconds slower 0 to 60 towing 7,500lbs.
They also showed pics and specs of the all new Ford F150 and Dodge Ram. Wow! The new F150 is UGLY!!!

Fords optional engine 5.4 comes with 310hp/365tq. WTF!!! Thats the least number of ponies of the big three, Toyota and Nissan. I don't see how Ford is going to sell F150s with those looks and specs. Pitifull!
The only Truck IMO that will give the Tundra a run is the all new Dodge with 380HP/404TQ. Execs of Dodge stated that they will not enter the towing wars with the other manufactures and leave that to the HD version of the Ram.
