Well I have a call in with AFE and they are researching. This may have been a fluke with my intake. Please note that these were not forced in when attempting to install. The threads were not clean from the manufacturer and no fault of my own.

Also I had a drop in AFE filter and there is a big difference between that and this intake. I think it was worth the money and would do it again even if only to gain the sound that this thing makes at WOT.
