Can't speak exactly to the '08, but my '07 4x4 V6 now gets 25.6 freeway, dropping off a little in a head wind. Seems like 20.7 around town but I don't check as closely as when I am watching the gauge drop on the freeway. Nice vehicle with only wind noise complaints from me. Good luck with the buy.
