Default Re: Can I put an ATV in a crewmax?

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to buy the Can Am 800 Outlander XT within the next week. I want that quad so bad I can taste the dirt in my teeth. I have bought a 4x8x1 inch piece of plywood. I cut it to the length of the bed with the tailgate down. I'm hoping that will keep the weight off the tailgate. In my minds eye, I would think that with the wood on there the tailgate could fall off and the ATV would still be held up by the piece of plywood. I will take lots of pics when I get the quad to show you what I have done. I just hope it works because this is the main reason why I got this truck. I hate to worry about this stupid tailgate but I do want to prevent any damage to it.
