I have a 2006 Solara convertible with the exact same issue - back right side rattles with the top up around where the rear window meets the body of the car. I haven't yet taken it in to get it looked at, but it does rattle for some reason, and is most pronounced on bumpy surfaces (no surprise).


The best I can say is that you are not alone and I look forward to hearing how this gets resolved for you (and hopefully to your full satisfaction!).
